15 Minutes of Fame
A few days ago Darek took the kids to Qwest field to get their jerseys signed by John Carlson. Hello can you say hottie? Anyways Mark called me last night to inform me that their picture was on the Seahawks website! So cute- I'm talking about my kids- who did you think I was talking about?
This weekend Darek is doing the breast cancer 3 day walk and yesterday he was on the news with his buddy Charles. You can see the clip HERE.
Is my family famous or what? Mason was beyond excited when I showed him the picture. I think he thinks he is famous now! I guess we all get 15 minutes right?

Free Movies

For the past few weeks the kids and I have been enjoying free movies at Regal Cinemas. Apparently, they have offered these in the summer time since the late 1990's! I am so glad I found out about them. The movies they play are ones that are already released on DVD ex: Bee Movie, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar 2, etc. All G or PG. Here is the link to check them out:tryhttp://www.regmovies.com/nowshowing/familyfilmfestivalschedule.aspx?state=WA
Our theater in Puyallup offers them on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays @ 10:00am. I try to take the kids once a week. They really enjoy the movies even though they have already seen most of them. We usually meet up with friends and then go out for lunch afterwards. M & M call our movie day "Kids Day"! I think of it more as "Mom's Day" because I don't have to come up with the entertainment!

Firefighting a True Brotherhood

Last week we went to JJ's graduation from the Fire Academy. He was the class speaker and gave an excellent speech about the brotherhood (and sisterhood yes, there were a couple of girls in his class) of firefighters. I think Darek and Justin are exceptional firefighters who truly know the meaning of a brotherhood. Really I'm not sure why they are posing like this? Apparently it's a competition to see who can look the most macho. Congrats to J- wherever you get hired they will be lucky to have you.

Darek Smiling?

I just had to post this picture because Darek is actually smiling. For those of you who don't know this- Darek doesn't smile in pictures. Looking at our wedding album is just depressing. In every photo he has a "serious" expression. He gets it from Mick. Mick does not smile in pictures either. Maybe it has something to do with being a marine? Who knows. Anyways here is the proof my husband can smile.

Update on Baby Ezra

Ezra is home and safe and happy! He scared us with some major complications, but he pulled through. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers in their behalf. When I told Mason and Morgan that Ezra was going home, Mason said "Wow mom, Heavenly Father answered our prayers". He also tells Morgan to stop blessing baby Ezra because our prayers have already been answered. We hope to meet baby Ezra and see Jess and Liam next month!

Baby Ezra

I have a new nephew who is just a few months old and I can't wait to meet him. His name is Ezra Kai William Cornelison. Quite the name for such a little guy. He is just too cute for words. Today was a big day for him as he had major surgery to repair his heart. He was born with down syndrome and congenital heart disease. Our family has prayed diligently on his behalf and we are anxious to hear that the surgery is completed and successful. This is my favorite picture of him and Jess! Doesn't he just look like he's in heaven. I'm thinking we need to take another trip to Hawaii to meet him. Mason and Morgan are constantly talking about baby Ezra. Mason is especially excited to have another boy cousin. We are so blessed to have Ezra in our family. Jess & Liam are such loving and wonderful parents.
